I started My Trade Kit for a simple reason: I kept seeing brilliant local businesses lose work — not because they weren’t good at what they do, but because their online presence didn’t reflect it. A competitor shows up higher on Google, has a cleaner website, looks more trustworthy… and suddenly the jobs go elsewhere.
My dad was a joiner, so I understand what’s really at stake. You don’t need “brand strategy”. You need the phone to ring. You need enquiries you actually want. You need work that keeps your business healthy.
I’ve spent years honing the skills that make that happen — writing, design, websites, SEO and marketing — with a methodical approach focused on long-term results. When I started helping businesses on the side, I was shocked by how often people were being overcharged, upsold, or tied into services they didn’t understand.
So I built My Trade Kit to be the opposite of that: one clear, consistent, honest place to handle the digital side properly.
